Spring Raffle

Raffle tickets are sold annually to raise money for the AFTER SCHOOL Scholarship Fund. Each spring, usually in April, the Dane Region and the Waukesha Region each host a fair. Names are drawn at both fairs for the raffle prizes. Raffle prizes usually consist of family fun packages such as a gift certificate to a local restaurant and tickets to a sports event. Each fair gives away as many as 25 to 30 prizes.

Tickets can be purchased in advance of the fair from staff at AFTER SCHOOL sites. They can also be purchased at the fair up until half an hour before the drawing. You need not be present to win. A single ticket is $3, three tickets are $5 and five tickets are $10. Watch for news of raffle prizes and how to purchase tickets in the winter edition of the AFTER SCHOOL newsletter.

Plan to attend the fair to see the wonderful creative talents of the children in all the AFTER SCHOOL programs on display from arts and crafts to dramatic skits to singing. And purchase raffle tickets to help make these quality programs available to low income children.
