Madagascar Party - Create some of your own summer adventures while enjoying fun activities and learning that introduces the stars of the popular movie “Madagascar.” Follow the adventures of this foursome of friends as they journey away from their zoo home.

TIGERS
Cultural Art - Adventure awaits you as you expand your knowledge and understanding of different cultures through the arts.  Move your body to the beat of different cultural rhythms. Make your own instrument and create music from around the world.  Enjoy traditional stories from African, Native American and other cultures. Play games that children in other countries play.  Create works of unique cultural arts and crafts.

EAGLES
Sports Around The World - Ever wonder how to play cricket?  Ever want to be in on a rugby scrum?  Here’s your chance to play sports which are popular in other countries. Some possibilities include Australian rules football, lacrosse and table tennis.  End the week with a trip to Adventure Rock and a climbing experience under the direction and supervision of the camp and climbing staff.  There is a $15 activity fee for our experience at Adventure Rock.

STRATEGY FOR FUN

Camp Cubs
Busy Builders - How high can we go?  Use a variety of materials--blocks, Legos, sticks, papers--to build.  You don’t have to be an architect to build!  Which is stronger: straw, twigs or bricks?  Work together and on your own to build towers, forts and other creations, learning all along the way!

TIGERS
Crazy Concoctions - Mix, taste, touch, smell, drink, see and even hear all kinds of wacky creations!  From chemistry in the kitchen to whipping up a batch of “gak,” we’ve got the recipe for creative fun! Learn how to safely make a mess then play with it!  Play dough, silly putty, paper mache--we’ll be mixing it up!

EAGLES
Classic Games - Learn the classic games of chess, Stratego, checkers, Battle Ship and more!  Create your own strategy games.  Solve a variety of mind games, minute mysteries, brainteasers, word challenges and puzzles.  Explore the strategy behind traditional sports and other games all while practicing good sportsmanship and teamwork.

Camp Cubs
Set Sail For Summer - Oceans, lakes, rivers, ponds, streams--all contain life.  Explore the many creatures and plants that live in these different bodies of water.  Learn about the role water plays in the environment and our lives.  In Wisconsin, water means fun! Learn about the ways we enjoy our many bodies of water and beaches.

TIGERS
Imagination On The Run - Let your imagination run wild with creative performances. Make a stick puppet, a paper bag puppet, a sock puppet then put on a show!  Don’t forget to build the puppet stage.  Into drama, music or dance?  Make up a song.  Develop a dance.  Design a costume.  Put on a show for other campers.  You can be the actor, the stage manager, the costume designers or all three!

EAGLES
Construction Zone - Cardboard forts, plastic models, Lego structures, card castles, marshmallow toothpick towers and so much more!  If you can imagine it, you can construct it!  See and learn about different types of buildings and structures and create some that are uniquely yours.  Campers will be given the opportunity to create and build using a variety of supplies and materials.  For larger projects emphasis will be on practical design and safety.  Campers will be able to display and even play in their structures and will also do some projects they can take home.

THE GOOD LIFE

Marching Madness - Here comes the parade!  The uniforms, the music, the drums-- it all makes your heart beat faster.  You don’t have to be a bystander anymore.  You will be the parade!  Listen to classic marching band music for inspiration.  Try out some rhythm instruments.  Make some of your own.  Choose your costumes.  Plan your route. The parade is starting!

My Big Backyard - There’s a lot more in the back yard than a swing set!  Get ready to explore on your knees and up in the sky!  Learn about the tiny world of insects who live in the ground.  Then soar high into the sky as you learn about common backyard birds. That big tree does more than provide shade.  Learn about the relationship between plants, people and animals.  Take time out for some backyard fun playing group games and running through the sprinkler.  Who knew the backyard offered so much?

EAGLES
Body In Motion - There are lots of ways to move.  Move your body through dance, exercise, martial arts, yoga, obstacle courses and a variety of group and individual active games.  See how much fun physical fitness can be as you build strength, stretch your muscles and breathe deep!

MAKE A SPLASH

Beach Party - Aloha!  Spend the week like a true island boy or girl with grass skirts, fruity drinks, and flowered leis.  Play water games on the beach and build sand castles in the sun.  Celebrate summer at the Friday Luau!

TIGERS
Sunshine, Swimming, Sandcastles & Summer Fun! - There are so many ways to enjoy summer and some of the best involve water and a beach.  Join us for a week of beach parties, swimming, sandcastle building contests and beach picnics and cookouts. Enjoy all the best that summer has to offer before heading back to school.

EAGLES
Wet ’N’ Wild - Explore the substance that covers most of our planet.  Have fun doing wet and wacky science experiments, seeing what lives in water, and the many ways people have fun in the water.  It’s sure to be a splash!

It Makes "Sense"- Explore your five senses through science experiments and games. Taste test common snacks.  Sharpen your observation skills.  Participate in blindfold smell tests.  There’s so much more to life when we use all our senses to see, hear, touch, taste and smell the world around us!

TIGERS
Green Thumb - Dig into a whole new world. Explore how things grow from tiny seeds to tall trees and everything in between.  Sample some favorite summertime plants like corn on the cob and tomatoes!  Discover how plants grow and how people and animals use them.  Enjoy nature as you get your hands a little dirty.  Roll up your sleeves and join the fun.

EAGLES
Trailblazers - Learn the skills of orienteering while you explore the forests of Waukesha.  Design a compass course, build a shelter, and play a variety of outdoor games designed to build your trailblazing skills.  Discover some amazing views, learn to evaluate the trails and pick your favorites so you can plan a return visit!

SUMMER CLASSICS

Bug Buddies - Don’t be afraid.  Insects are fascinating creatures!  Explore their amazing world from the beauty of butterflies to helpful bees pollinating our crops to the spiders who eat mosquitoes.  Does it fly?  Crawl?  Creep?  Explore the world of insects and how they live.

TIGERS
Balloons, Balls, & Bubbles - Whether you blow it up, kick it or chase it you’ll have fun and learn a few tricks with these summer favorites.  Have a blast with balloon animals, water balloons, wacky balloon hats, big balloons, small balloons and balloons of every shape and color.  From Koosh balls to Earth balls, discover a variety of games and activities and have a ball playing them.  And don’t forget the bubbles--BIG bubbles!

EAGLES
Great Chefs: Frozen Treats and Beverages - Soda, slushies, sundaes, smoothies and sunshine!  Come to camp and enjoy a week of creating and tasting delicious ice-cold creations!  Freeze, mix, blend, bubble and stir your way to refreshment.

SUMMER FAVORITES

On The Farm - Spend the whole week exploring farm life and what it’s like to be a farmer.  Make puppets of your favorite farm animals.  What kinds of foods do farmers eat?  Let’s try some.

TIGERS
Summer Camp Games - Learn the science of food while you taste test something delicious.  What makes a vegetable green and why does salad taste so good in summer? Why are some chocolates bitter and how can they turn into such tasty treats?

EAGLES
Hoops, Chutes, & Ropes - Get Enjoy a variety of individual and group challenges using unique game equipment.  Play classic camp games and create some games of your own.  End the week with a trip to Adventure Rock and a climbing experience under the direction and supervision of the camp and climbing wall staff.  There is a $15 activity fee for our experience at Adventure Rock.
