AFTER SCHOOL Day Camp is more than a place.  It is a unique experience where individuals become friends, new experiences become skills to share, and camp adventures lead to a greater appreciation of each other and the world in which we live.

Registration for Summer Day Camp Begins

February 1 in Waukesha County

March 1 in Dane County

ACA Accredited & State Licensed

Providing a safe and secure environment is our number one priority.  All of our day camps are licensed by the state of Wisconsin. American Camp Association  (ACA) accreditation verifies that our camps meet or exceed 300 individual health and safety program quality standards.

Meeting the Needs of Parents

As your family joins with ours, we are committed to building a solid, lasting relationship.  We strive to meet the needs of parents through reasonable prices, convenient locations, extended hours, and weekly enrollment options.  Most importantly we want to provide you with the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your child is part of a quality program.  Our registration process gathers important information so we can prepare to meet your child’s individual needs. Prior to camp, your family will receive detailed information about what to expect at camp. During the summer, we are always just a phone call away and available to you to discuss any questions or concerns.

A Place to Be a Child

Childhood, like summer, is a short season.  Camp is the place to be a child, to explore, to play, to discover and to have fun!  We understand that being a child means different things for different age groups, which is why our programming is more age-specific than ever before.  Camp staff strive to create an accepting community where campers feel like they belong, like they can be themselves.  At day camp we support children in a positive atmosphere that cherishes effort and persistence.

Quality Staff Make the Difference

It is the camp counselors and specialists who regularly interact with your child that make all the difference. We recruit, hire and train staff to be caring adult role models. Here’s what campers say about our staff -- caring, cool, fun, nice, funny, kind, awesome, happy, inspiring, active, exciting, easy-going, fun, creative, helpful, good, super-duper, generous, friendly, amazing, responsible, special, sweet, sporty, incredible, great, adventurous, calm, positive, trustworthy, silly, safe, fair, engaging, fabulous, smart, energetic, outgoing, respectful, and the best!

“The staff is what makes a program successful.  This staff was super special and I am so grateful for the teaching and mentoring provided to my child!”

Preparing Children for Future Success

Day camp is a lot more than “something fun for the kids to do when they are out of school.”  Children learn most from hands-on discovery and practice, especially in small groups.  At camp, resources are available for children to explore and pursue their individual interests using this hands-on “experiential” approach.  With an emphasis on teamwork and problem solving, day camp has distinctive value in preparing children for success in school and beyond.
