Megan Nugent

Bio:

Megan started with AFTER SCHOOL in August 2008. She holds a B.A.in Family Life Education from UW-Stevens Point. Her many years of experience with children include babysitting, and working at Summer camp as well as before and after school care programs. Megan also taught school-agers in Japan. Megan enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, scrapbooking, traveling, the outdoors and watching the packers.

"I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world.  It is my goal to make each child know how special they are and help nurture their positive self esteem."

All of the Orchard Lane AFTER SCHOOL programs run out of the spacious assembly room.  The Orchard Lane staff work to provide a safe and fun adventure for children with lots of different activity choices and projects. Projects are based on the interests of the children with the goal of helping children to learn new skills and explore. Activities include painting, handicrafts, holiday themed projects and outdoor recreation.  The students at Orchard lane enjoy outdoor group games on the soccer field and basketball courts as well as independent play on the playground equipment. Orchard Lane offers Before School, AFTER SCHOOL BOOST and Club programs.
