Suzanne Peters
Bio: Suzanne joined the AFTER SCHOOL staff in September 2005. Her experience working with children includes conducting school tours for over 10 years at Old World Wisconsin as well as working at the Education Center of the Waukesha County Museum. All four of her children attended Dousman Elementary School so she is very familiar with the school. Suzanne enjoys reading, sewing, camping and caring for her pets-a big brown dog, several cats and a turtle from Texas.
"I never forgot what it was like to be a child, to be able to learn new things and share them in positive ways with others in a safe environment. I want all children to be able to have that experience."
Dousman's program is housed in a spacious cafeteria, where children enjoy a variety of indoor activities, including cooking projects, games, homework, and crafts. It's a place where children are comfortable making friends and expanding their imaginations. The staff's creativity carries over into a number of interesting and unique quality program activities. The program has a wonderful outdoor space that offers a great playground with new equipment, a soccer field for sports and games, and a beautiful garden to explore. Dousman offers Before School, and AFTER SCHOOL BOOST and Club programs.
