Merton Intermediate spacer

N68 W28320 Sussex Rd.
Merton 53056

Families from both Merton Primary and Merton Intermediate are served by the program located within the Merton Intermediate building.

Immediately following the Before School program, our staff escorts children from the Intermediate School into the Primary School, where they are released to their classrooms.

At mid-day and at the end of the school day, the district teachers release the children to go to AFTER SCHOOL.  In some cases the classroom aide walks them to our doorway where we are awaiting them.

In the afternoon our staff meets those BOOST (kindergarten - 2nd grade) children coming from the Primary Center to the program location.  The Club (3rd grade and up) children are released by their teachers to come to the cafeteria on their own.

Merton's programs are housed in two beautiful rooms and a spacious cafeteria.  The program space includes building, art and crafts, homework and game areas where children enjoy a variety of indoor activities including cooking and science.  The program has a wonderful outdoor space that offers a great playground with new equipment, a basketball court and a large soccer field for sports and games.  It's a place where children are comfortable making friends and expanding their imaginations.  The staff's creativity carries over into a number of interesting and unique quality program activities.

The goal for Merton is to make the program a fun and safe place where children have the opportunity to learn life long lessons and make new friends. The routine consists of completing homework, playing games and working on projects. The staff believes strongly in giving children responsibility and encouraging them to respect themselves and others. Merton offers Before School, Before and After 4K kindergarten care, and AFTER SCHOOL BOOST and Club programs.
