Families from both Merton Primary and Merton Intermediate are served by the program located within the Merton Intermediate building.
Immediately following the Before School program, our staff escorts children from the Intermediate School into the Primary School, where they are released to their classrooms.
At mid-day and at the end of the school day, the district teachers release the children to go to AFTER SCHOOL. In some cases the classroom aide walks them to our doorway where we are awaiting them.
In the afternoon our staff meets those BOOST (kindergarten - 2nd grade) children coming from the Primary Center to the program location. The Club (3rd grade and up) children are released by their teachers to come to the cafeteria on their own.

Bio:
Kimberly started working with AFTER SCHOOL in the fall of 2011. She has her Associates Degree in early childhood education though Waukesha County Technical College and will be pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at UW- Whitewater in spring 2012. Kimberly has two years of professional experience working in daycare settings as well as in a before school program, and one year of student teaching 4K at Hartland South. During her leisure time she likes to go for walks/hikes with her husband, play with her daughter, go camping, sew, and cook. |
