Cynthia Taylor

Bio:

Cynthia is the site supervisor at Dodgeville.  Currently, Ridgeway students are bused by the school district to our Dodgeville AFTER SCHOOL site.  Cynthia started with AFTER SCHOOL in the fall of 2010.  She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree and a secondary degree, early childhood license, from UW-Milwaukee.  Her experience working with children includes 25 years as a preschool, kindergarten and Head Start teacher.  Cynthia enjoys painting, reading walking and spending time with friends.

Ridgeway AFTER SCHOOL kids meet in the Dodgeville Elementary School South Mall. The group also has access to the North Mall and the use of the computer lab. There is a large playground with equipment and a grassy field and paved area for all kinds of games. Ridgeway AFTER SCHOOL is a choice-based program.  We believe in offering many opportunities for kids to have fun and explore their interests. Kid input is important too!  We encourage their suggestions for safe, appropriate activities. We provide a welcoming atmosphere that supports friendships and builds social skills, daily homework time with adult help and outdoor play every day (weather permitting) for good health.  Many of our Dane County AFTER SCHOOL sites offer enrichment classes.
