Will my child get help with their homework?
Each site offers a special time during the day and a homework table for children to work on their homework. The center is equipped with dictionaries, paper, pens and pencils and staff enforces a quiet zone around the table. Although it is not always possible to provide one to one assistance, staff can often sit at the table and help children.

How are we billed?
You can choose from among several options:
- Automatic credit card deduction on the first of every month. (A separate form is required.)
- One monthly payment by credit card or check mailed or brought to the office by the first of the month.
- Two monthly payments by credit card or check mailed or brought to the office on the first and the fifteenth of each month. (Link to registration section.)

Do I need to provide a snack for my child?
A snack consisting of things like juice and graham crackers, veggies and dip or cereal and milk is provided for your child during the after school hours. Snacks are planned according to the USDA nutrition guidelines (available
through navigation button on left). If your child requires a special diet for
reasons including but not limited to allergies or a medical condition, please
include this information on your registration form and commuicate with
the Site

Can I switch my child's schedule?
Your child's schedule is reserved at the program location where they are enrolled. If you find it necessary to change this schedule please contact the administrative office for availability. Adding or reducing the number of days of attendance per week during school year programs requires written notification from the person responsible for payment of fees be given to the administrative office prior to the start of the billing period during which the change becomes effective. All change of schedule requests must be confirmed by the registrar's office. Changes received on the 1st through 15th of a month can take effect the 16th of that month. Changes received on the 16th through the end of the month can take effect the 1st of the next month. We make every effort to accommodate requests for schedule changes as program enrollments permit. Should you require a schedule change during a semi-monthly billing period, we will try to accommodate your child; however, additional fees may apply. If school year schedule changes exceed three per semester a $5 charge will be assessed.

How do I withdraw my child?
If parents wish to remove a child from the program during school year programs, written notification from the person responsible for payment of fees must be given to the administrative office prior to the start of the billing period during which the withdrawal becomes effective. Effective dates for withdrawals must coincide with billing periods. Notification of withdrawal must be made through the administrative office.

Are there extra fees over and above paying for AFTER SCHOOL care?
There is an additional charge and a separate registration for all day programs, winter break and spring break programs. If your child participates in Scouting, offered at certain sites, there is a $10 fee charged by the local scouting organization. Your child's site may also offer additional program options such as World Languages, science or art classes or other enrichment opportunities, which carry their own fees. However as for the regular care provided by AFTER SCHOOL, all is included in the fees unless a late pickup or additional days occur.
